This clock shows time in five minute intervals using words.
With Excel spreadsheets or Google sheets and metrics accosting us from every angle in our daily lives, sometimes we want a break from numbers. Or, at least, numbers expressed as mathematical symbols. But when we get home, the TV gives us more numbers. The microwave is all numbers. The phone is numbers. And even knowing what time it is so we know if it’s time to close our eyes to get away from the numbers requires numbers.
Until now. The LED Word Clock is a digitless clock. It tells time through the use of words rather than numbers. Instead of seeing “10:30” (or two hands pointing to numbers for the analog folks), your LED Word Clock will say, “It is half past ten.” Numbers as words. It’s a paradigm shift. And it’s one we dig.
